For this art prompt we are going to be playing with circles. You will need:

• Paint
• Pens or pencils
• circular objects (I used, plastic container lids and corks.)
• Paper/Art Journal/Sketch Pad

The object of this prompt is to use different materials to play with circles. There does not have to be any rhyme or reason to your circles, just let yourself play and experiment with different techniques and materials.


Use the paint and the circular objects to stamp circles across your page. Play with stamping using different objects to get different sizes of circles. I used the cork and the flat side of a plastic lid for the solid circles and I used the lid rim on two different lids for the circular outlines. Once your painted circles have dried, go back in and doodle circles with your pen or pencil.
