This week's Pinterest inspiration is this awesome tree silhouette cut out of a canvas. Pinterest offered up a photo tutorial so I thought I would give it a go...

The Pinterest Inspiration

Mine is not quite as tidy as the Pinterest example, but it was fun none the less and I was quite pleased with the end result. I finished mine off with a quick and easy alcohol ink backing in Autumn colors. If you are interested in this project all o the materials used are in stock in the studio. Come on in to any of our open studio sessions to give it a go. (This project is recommended for our older artists since exacto blades are needed.)
